The Real Estate CyberSpace Society has announced the release of its new "Real Estate BlackBook CyberDisk 2000". According to John M. Peckham III the Society's Executive Director, "BlackBook 2000 was recently shipped to Society members and will be shipped without cost to new members who join the Society in the next 30 days."

According to Peckham the third generation BlackBook 2000 is completely new and designed to put several tools on the users desktop to save "many tens (if not hundreds) of hours of undirected Internet searching and surfing." Peckham added,
" Because BlackBook 2000 runs right from the users own computer it allows the real estate pro to access many powerful resources without being tied to a particular web site. BlackBook 2000 comes complete with 8 self contained Wizards that provide the user with specific tools of particular use to real estate professionals. "

Peckham explained that The Real Estate Web Navigator and Real Estate RifleShot Wizard are designed to find and take the user right to the real estate resource or tool needed quickly and easily.

The CyberMaster Briefing Wizard (new in version 2000) allows BlackBook users to listen to any one of over 60 real estate briefings explaining how to use the Internet to leverage a real estate professional's effectiveness. The BlackBook allows the user to connect directly from BlackBook 2000 to the real estate resources and tools discussed while listening to the comments on that resource in the briefing!

The Connectivity and Technology Support Wizard (also new in version 2000) is "completely new and unique" according to Peckham. "This Tech Help Line in BlackBook 2000 allows real estate practitioners to obtain assistance on any of 45 different connectivity/technology subjects (ex: E-mail, Connectivity, ListServers, Web Browsers, and programs such as Top Producer, Aries, PlanEase, and Prep). Sixty Society members who are competent in these areas respond to other members' questions by E-mail or phone. Members can get answers to their questions or problems by simply clicking on the links provided in the Support Wizard section of the BlackBook." According to Peckham, "This member Help Line is a potent example of the power of community that exists among Society members"

Peckham concluded by stating that, "This million dollar BlackBook 2000 was designed to help real estate professionals harness the power of the Web. BlackBook 2000 was designed to be particularly helpful to those who are just beginning to use the Internet, but has such depth of support that the experienced Internet user will also find it invaluable.

The Real Estate CyberSpace Society provides its members in 56 Chapters and the real estate industry with information on real estate technology issues and strategies, and a common meeting ground for professionals from all real estate specialties.
