John M. Peckham III Executive Director, Real Estate Cybersapce Society has announced the opening of The Society’s Virtual Office on the Web.

According to Peckham the Society’s page is not only a place for Real Estate Professionals to visit for information, it provides "Virtual Desktop" capabilities so that real estate pros online can run the 12 top requested Real Estate functions directly from the icons on the Society’s desktop. The Society calls this the "Cybertools" section.

"Many of our members use the Cybertools section of the Society page as their desktop whenever they are on line , Peckham said.. " From the desktop you can icon click directly to helpful daily chores such as finding anyone’s E-mail address, locating anyone’s phone number and address, getting specific leads for the mortgage loan needed to close a deal, drawing a map or getting directions for anyplace, searching for either Commercial Investment properties –or single family homes for sale, locating dozens of real estate E-mail lists and Groups—or even reading the morning real estate news. And this is all without leaving the desktop."

Peckham stated that The Society page was designed to provide several other functions of particular value to real estate practitioners. A few of these include a Free Link function allowing visitors and members to create an instant free link to their own home page. Another free section allows real estate visitors and members to join the Society Listserver mail list and yet another allows visitors and members to leave a guest book message.

The Real Estate Intelligence section allows visitors to view Peckham’s "Real Estate Cyberspace Strategies" columns from the New England Real Estate Journal" and the "Florida Real Estate Journal". Each article features tips and tricks to help readers operate more effectively in Real Estate Cybersapce—complete with links in the text.

Peckham says that "The Society’s goal is to provide a common meeting ground for this wonderful Real Estate Cyberspace Community." With this in mind Peckham tapes his interviews with 3 top Real Estate Cyber Gurus every 60 days. He calls the interviewees the Society’s "CyberMasters".
