Real Estate CyberSpace Radio (RECR) today released excerpts from their August briefings. In three interviews, Dan Gooder Richard, Rick Raddatz and Ira Serkes address practical tips and tools for real estate professionals to generate more business and boost their bottom lines.

The lead briefing with Dan Gooder Richard, creator of the RainMaker Lead System®, focuses on the big shift in marketing that has resulted from traditional marketing options being expanded by the Internet. According to Richard, "You really need them both-advertising/direct marketing and web sites/email." He draws on both of his Real Estate RainMaker® books to clarify for Real Estate CyberSpace Radio listeners how the rules of the 1990s, including the single most important rule for maximizing e-marketing success, need to be applied with a twist in this new decade. Among the topics he covers are how to drive traffic to your web site, how to convert visitors to prospects and how to differentiate your email from spam. Richard also introduces listeners to his flexible, proprietary lead-generating system, whose features can be customized to enhance both website and email efforts. In looking to the future, Richard sums up the three major changes he expects in real estate marketing over the next three years.

In the second interview, marketing pioneer Rick Raddatz, CEO of, presents effective new Internet voice-marketing strategies to improve an agent's visibility and income. He emphasizes the power of your own voice to sell on the Web. Successful selling depends on establishing relationships through communication, and Raddatz makes the case that audio has the power to build a relationship and to encourage people to stay on your message longer. The challenge has been the technical difficulty of applying audio to web sites and email programs. However, Raddatz offers listeners easy solutions through AudioGenerator. He explains how the service enables real estate pros to use audio to expand their market dominance without having to become technical whizzes. His goal from the very beginning has been to keep his audio marketing tool simple. In summing up the approach he recommends to Society members, Raddatz comments, "It's all about communicating with your prospects and your customers in a way that stands out and doesn't take up a lot of your time doing it!"

In the wrap-up briefing, cyber agent-philosopher Ira Serkes shares very practical strategies and the thought processes behind them that enable him to run a thriving real estate business with a small staff and still enjoy 60 days of travel a year. He acknowledges that many of the things he is able to do are possible because of the Internet and technology. "Computers and technology have finally caught up to the way I think." Serkes' interesting approach to real estate practice takes into account limitations that he chooses to respect and that he transforms into positive guidelines for his business. He explains such concepts as the Regret Minimization Framework, the Quantum Theory of Home Buying and the Zen of Listings. Despite the unusual terminology, his tips-especially the Star Trek Transporter Beam-are potentially useful to real estate professionals. Serkes concludes by identifying his single best dollar-productive activity and some resourceful, long-term uses for his web site.
