On the eve of its 20th anniversary, John M. Peckham III Executive Director of the Real Estate CyberSpace Society has announced the birth of the "NEW" Society.

Established in 1996 the Society led the real estate industry's entry into the real estate cyber age, equipping its members to maximize the opportunities presented by the then new internet.

The Society established the first and only internet based designation in early 1997. Since then the RECS (Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist) designation has been awarded to over 14,000 real estate professionals.

Now the Society has improved its membership benefits package bringing separate specialized services and programs for both residential and commercial specialists.

Peckham stated that "On our twentieth anniversary, we have revitalized and restructured the Society so residential brokers and agents can join and benefit from the Society's e programs for only $99 which covers a full year of services plus the RECS Designation. Commercial specialists receive all of the Society's services including the renowned RealBuyer searchable database of over seven thousand commercial/investment buyers."
