Here's a good way to keep your e-mail address off the nuisance list when you sign up for a web site requiring you to provide an e-mail address. These nice folks provide free, anonymous temporary email accounts.

Say you want to enter a web site and they ask for an e-mail address to send a validation to. But you don't want to give them your real e-mail address and end up on a bunch of spam lists. Just get a temporary address here. No cost.

The accounts are completely secure, you are the only one with access to your emails. The emails and address itself expires in 10 minutes.

You may not want to know this - but there is a quick way to find out if you are lugging around too much fat!
Your BMI (body mass index) is a measurement that shows you if you're carrying too much, too little or just the right amount of body fat. This is an estimate of your body fat that is based on your height and weight. You can determine your BMI with the calculator the folks at AARP provide here. All you need to do is select your height and weight click the 'Calculate' button Shazam-- you'll be looking at your BMI in a flash.
