Alan F. Daniels is the founder, chairman and CEO of RealEstate.com. -- a premier provider of online products and services for consumers and Real Estate industry professionals that significantly reduce the time, effort and cost normally associated with Real Estate transactions. He brings his background in executive management, business strategy and development to his overall executive management responsibility for all aspects of RealEstate.com.Alan founded the Atlanta-based companies RESICOM Analytics, Inc., MortgageAuction.com and Real Estate Industries Inc., the precursors of RealEstate.com. He began the research and development in 1995, and successfully launched RESICOM Analytics, Inc. in 1997. As chairman and CEO, he built the business with the goal of utilizing the power of the Internet to develop a web site for Real Estate information and services to benefit consumers and industry professionals nationwide. He spearheaded the development of the RESICOM Analytics products -- the first Internet-based, standardized analyses to be developed for the Real Estate industry -- and lead-generating services, which have evolved into the RealEstate.com Property Analysis? tools found on the RealEstate.com web site. Prior to his entrepreneurial work, Alan's seven years' Commercial Real Estate experience included consulting with CB Commercial/REMAX Joint Ventures and representing Fortune 500 companies in site location and development at REMAX Commercial. He had a dual major in Business and Economics at Florida A&M University and is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Real Estate.
